A complete rebuild of an MVC project
Just to name a few obstacles, Ferno’s previous website struggled with performance issues, the site could not be used as a sales tool because it lacked information for various products, and the products themselves were hard to find. Moreover, its MVC architecture needed to be restructured, as models and controllers prevented view reuse of functionality in the site.
BizStream did a full review of the previous Kentico installation, which meant an assessment of application components and their configurations. The production database server, IIS web server and Kentico installation, and a significant number of custom settings were also audited.
The Kentico MVC approach made things easier, and the rapid development process has delivered an optimized, easily adjustable website by integrating these technology solutions:

- HubSpot for connecting the sales team with customers seeking quotes for equipment
FERNO’s new website has received positive end-client feedback. The team can now easily update and manage content on their website, which they could not do before.
In addition, they are surprised by how well the website serves as an up-to-date sales tool in ways it never did in the past.
The overall solution, integrated with HubSpot, has seen incredible results (a comparison between the 35-day period after launch (5/21/2019 - 6/26/2019) and the previous period; the last statistic reflects the time period between 6/1/19 - 8/31/19 compared year-over-year):
